Uniform for Girls

grades 6-8 uniform

Required for RAD Examinations

  • Navy blue sleeveless leotard with a navy blue elastic belt
  • Pink ballet tights
  • Pink leather ballet shoes (preferably with a full sole) secured with elastic
  • Black character skirt with 3 ribbons; white, light blue and royal blue
  • Black canvas character shoes with a Cuban heel
  • Repertoire ‘Georgette’ full circle skirt with waist tie

Optional

  • Navy blue crossover cardigan
  • Pointe Shoes (with teachers permission)

Measurements for a character skirt

  • Waist size (taken with good posture, standing tall but not holding your stomach in)
  • Length from waist to 2 inches below the bottom of the knee (the so-called “mid-calf” position)

  • White leotard
  • Navy blue stirrup tights
  • White socks
  • White leather ballet shoes (preferably with a full sole)
  • Black, laced up canvas character shoes

RAD Uniform

The full RAD uniform, including shoes, can be purchased directly from Danz Royal at our dance studios in Tervuren on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Alternatively, please contact us in advance to arrange an appointment.
